Creative Systems & Brand Evolution

As Creative Lead at Apollo Fire Detectors, I work across brand, design, video and digital products for a global fire-safety business. My focus has been bringing more creative capability in-house and building a consistent system that can scale across products, campaigns, tools and teams.

Apollo creates highly technical products for a global fire-safety market. The challenge is making complex information feel clear, consistent and useful across very different touchpoints. I work across campaign design, video, UI/UX and reusable brand systems, creating the work itself while also building tools that allow the wider team to produce high-quality, on-brand content faster.

Fire detection products can be technically complex, so product marketing needs to communicate the important benefits quickly without losing the strength of the Apollo brand. I developed campaign systems built around strong product imagery, concise technical messaging and repeatable layouts that could work across social, web and sales material. One example was the XP95 3 Channel I/O launch, developed as a three-part campaign covering the new product launch, its sustainability story and key technical benefits.

Apollo has a broad product portfolio, with ranges designed for very different applications and environments. I developed a visual system that gives each range a recognisable setting, making the products easier to differentiate and giving marketing teams a more engaging way to communicate where they are used. Ten product ranges were brought into one consistent illustration system while retaining a distinct environment and use case for each.

Some of the biggest improvements came from removing repetitive production work entirely. I designed and built a suite of internal tools that allow teams to create approved Apollo assets themselves while keeping the brand system protected. This reduces routine production work, improves consistency and lets the creative team focus on higher-value projects.

A self-service presentation platform that lets teams build Apollo-branded presentations from approved slide templates and reusable content while keeping the visual identity consistent.
